These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and SwiftAppLab LLC, registered in Texas, United States ("SwiftAppLab", "we", "us", "our"), governing your use of Chargeback Shield. By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which is incorporated by reference.

1. The Service

Chargeback Shield helps merchants prepare chargeback dispute (representment) responses by collecting case details and generating a draft with AI assistance, which you can edit and export as a PDF.

2. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing

• Pro features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions: a Weekly plan and a Yearly plan. Current prices are shown in the app before purchase.
• Eligible new subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price shown.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal.
• Manage or cancel any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Payment and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service.

3. AI-Assisted Content — Important

Dispute drafts are generated with the assistance of AI and are provided for convenience only. They may contain errors or omissions. Chargeback Shield does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice, and does not guarantee any outcome or that a dispute will be won. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying every draft before submitting it to your payment processor, acquiring bank, or any other party.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app lawfully and to submit only information you are authorized to use. You may not use the app to create false, fraudulent, or misleading submissions.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftAppLab LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost data, profits, revenue, disputes lost, or decisions made based on generated content.

Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for Chargeback Shield in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $50 if greater).

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
