Privacy Policy
Chargeback Shield · Last updated: 3 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SwiftAppLab LLC, registered in Texas, United States
("SwiftAppLab", "we", "us", "our"), handles information in connection with your use of
Chargeback Shield. We designed the app to collect as little personal data as possible.
By using Chargeback Shield, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Handle
- Dispute details you enter. Merchant name, amounts, dates, reason codes,
timeline notes, and the names of files you attach. When you tap "Generate", these
details are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our AI drafting service to
produce your dispute response. They are used only to generate that draft.
- Evidence files. Files you attach are stored only on your
device. The file contents are not uploaded — only the file
name is included with a generation request so it can be referenced in the draft.
- Saved disputes. Disputes you save are stored locally on your device
using Apple's on-device database. We do not have access to them.
- Purchase and subscription status. Purchases are processed by Apple.
We (through our subscription provider, RevenueCat) receive your subscription status so
the app can unlock Pro features. We never receive your credit card or payment details.
2. What We Do Not Collect
- No account, name, email, or password is required to use the app.
- No advertising identifiers, no third-party ad tracking.
- No analytics SDKs and no location data.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information solely to provide the app's features: generating dispute drafts,
exporting PDFs, and managing your subscription. We do not sell or rent your information.
4. Third-Party Services
- Apple — processes in-app purchases and subscriptions
(Apple Privacy Policy).
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlement status
(RevenueCat Privacy Policy).
- AI drafting provider — our backend uses a third-party large language
model provider to generate dispute text from the details you submit. Submitted text is
processed to return a draft and is not used to identify you.
5. Data Retention
Disputes and evidence files live on your device until you delete them in the app or
uninstall the app. Generation requests are processed transiently to return your draft.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- Delete any dispute (and its attached evidence) from within the app at any time.
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › Apple ID ›
Subscriptions on your device.
7. Children
The app is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
8. Security
All network communication uses industry-standard encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last
updated" date.
